Chapter six + Beginning of part two!

I'M EXCITED. shooting for part two is both fun and challenging. and trying to do a legacy at the same time is also irritating. I've taken the pics for both installments, but the text I'm putting on hold for a while until after people have read the last chapter for part I. I did decide to eliminate a chapter, simply because it became unnecessary as I developed Linnea's character.
Speaking of which, I am so so sorry it took so long to get that chapter up. My normal self imposed deadline is a chapter every two weeks at least so this was a major fluke. I can't promise it won't happen again, unfortunately. I'm ridiculously busy. But I'll try my hardest! Anyway, enjoy the last installment of Part I.

CHALLENGE!

So I've wanted to do one of these for a while, partially because I get bored just playing the game and partially because I found a fun simmie torture type one on MTS. >:)

Chapter Three is up!!!

yay! really not much to say about this actually except GO READ IT! i shall go post on mts now. :)

Chapter Three!

It is unlikely that I will have finished chapter three by tonight, HOWEVER. I will give you all a little teaser just cause I'm grateful for any positive commentary. :) 

She felt the gun before she saw who was holding it; a cold metal barrel poking into the back of her head. She looked at Charlie. His eyes were wide and fearful as he took in whoever was behind her. Linnea winced as she felt a rough grip on her upper arm.
"What do you want? We don't have any money, we're just kids!"
Her voice came out a lot braver than she was actually feeling at the moment. The part of her brain that wasn't screaming was wondering what on earth a mugger was doing in the middle of uptown Oakshire.
"I don't want your money."
The voice was low, raspy, and vaguely amused. Linnea stiffened at the suppressed laughter that laced her attacker's tone.
"Well then what the hell do you want?"
"Listen sweetheart, I'm not the one who set this up. HEY!"
Linnea felt a release in the pressure on her head, and realized that the gun was now aimed at Charlie, who had just reached for the cell phone in his back pocket.
"That's enough. I'm gonna ask you to come with me. And you, kid, you keep your mouth shut. I don't care if you call the police, but wait till we're outta sight or she gets a bullet in her somewhere."

Curious? I hope so, this chapter's a fun one. ;) i shall finish posting it tomorrow.

Next Chapter!

So, MTS is now back up, albeit not fully functional and relatively slow, and my simmie stuff has been fully recovered and I have filled in all missing cc. therefore, I was able to take the missing pictures for chapter two, and as most of the text is already done you can all expect it up tonight.

*headdesk*

So a couple of days ago, my computer got stuck in a windows startup repair loop, followed by the blue screen of death. my hard drive was only partially backed up since this is an incredibly new laptop. as a result, all my simmie stuff=gone. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! incidentally, my novel was also in major jeopardy, but that was  at least backed up. I just got a techie to wipe the hard drive and start my computer fresh, but my posting is definitely going to have to be slow since I have to re-install the entire game + custom content.

Slight Delay....

So, though this story has been approved on MTS (at least I got an approval message), it hasn't been put up yet. I haven't decided what to do about this yet, but I have decided to delay the posting of chapter two until chapter one gets put up. Sorry!

Approved!

So The Experiment has been approved and will hopefully be up at MTS soon. :) In the meantime, I'm going to go post the second chapter which will hopefully be up today or tomorrow. It's a little dark in some areas, and kind of twisted, but hopefully not too disturbing. I put a content warning up on the blog just in case, but there's really not too much to be worried about...I hope.

Petrichor

I needed a screen name, and I REALLY didn't want to use my actual name because maybe one in a hundred people know how to pronounce it. (Naima Karczmar. Try and say it. I dare you.)
Anyway, I chose Petrichor because it sounds kind of nice, and also it means the smell of the earth after it rains. I love that smell, and tis pretty. So. My screen name is now Petrichor. :)

Yeah. That was a really pointless blog post. Have I mentioned how new I am at this?

First Chapter is up!

So the first chapter of Creation is up now, at precisely 1:54 AM. I really need to start sleeping sometimes. Anyway, I'm really excited and I'm new to this whole blogging type thing, so a little nervous as well. I guess anyone would be if they were presenting their work to the internet. I really hope people like it, and ummm, comment! please. I'd love to have feedback, as long as it's not mean or offensive or overly vehement. I shall probably post this on MTS within a few days or so, provided the staff let me considering the fact that I abandoned my first story halfway through... my bad. Anywho, we shall see. Hopefully, it'll be up there as well. If not, I guess that's the way things go. :/
